I am a Production Manager with over 30 years of experience overseeing large-scale A/V installations, specializing in augmented and virtual reality systems. For 16 years, I have been working on numerous maker projects involving PCB Design, Embedded Development and 3D printing, including designing and fabricating a 3D Printer from the ground up.

I am proficient in managing complex projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and utilizing a broad technical skill set acquired through maker projects. Prior to my tenure at GestureTek, I developed a solid foundation in various roles including drafting, sales, and construction. I am seeking a full-time position to apply my extensive project management experience and diverse technical skills.

PRODUCT DESIGN

Designed and built a custom 3D printer in entirety using Solidworks, extruded aluminum, laser cut aluminum and acrylic

PCB DESIGN & FABRICATION

Completed more than a dozen PCB designs for various maker projects

MCU, IC & SENSORS

Worked with ATMEL and ST MCU’s in many projects, using many different types of sensors in my own PCB designs
Experience with Environmental and Gyroscopic sensors in both module and bare ic format

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Extensive experience developing MCU applications for use with 3D printers and other applications, using the Arduino IDE and STM Cube development environments
Designed several projects using BT, WIFI, ZIGBEE, RF24, and LORA wireless communications ability
Experience developing web-based applications using HTML, PHP, JAVA, SQL, Python, etc.
Developed several GUI applications using Visual Basic
Designed a GUI for Home Automation using Node-red, running on a Raspberry Pi connected to multiple programmable wireless thermostats
